For those of you viewing this site who don't know who I am alow me to introduce myself. My name is Peter Miano and I am the photographer behind the one man business I like to call Portraits by Peter Miano.
I am a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with an Associates Degree in Photography with a focus on studio style portrait photography. My experience includes working for Carlson's Studio as assistant to Kevin Carlson and helped out with seniors, weddings, families, and other sessions both in the office and on location. I know the fundamentals of lighting, camerawork, and post production editing and my arsenal of equipment is constantly growing.
As of now I currently don't have an actual studio of my own but I can take my creativity to any location of your choosing. Outside at a park or in your own home I can find the beauty in any scene. My sessions are very laid-back and flexible. I don't rush or charge by the hour I just keep snapping pictures until you're satisfied that we've got exactly what you wanted.
In keeping up with the biggest new trend in the photography world I am glad to finally unveil the Portraits by Peter Miano Photobooth! This top of the line photobooth has a pro quality digital SLR, a live view monitor, and retro film strip style prints. It's classic entertainment at half the price of the big guys.
